In speaking with TReND MLS, and some of WolfNet's users, they offer one of the better solutions for IDX/Reciprocity-enabling your Web site.

Just having IDX (or reciprocity) is pretty much a basic necessity now if you have a Web site.  But it's almost criminally negligent to stop there ;>)  The REAL benefit to having IDX on your site, is giving visitors the ability to enroll themselves in an "Automatic Listing Update" program, through you.  WolfNet gives you the ability to have consumers automatically receive any new listings that hit the IDX database, in their e-mail, and has significant 'back-end" for you to track which prospects are searching for what, and how often.  This allows you to enter a prospect, much the same as you would in a "Buyer Prospect" function of an MLS.  The difference is, and this is huge - it automatically sends the new listings directly to the prospect from then on in, without you having to intervene, as you do now.  I know of one agent that has 1,200 prospects in this kind if database, and did 100 transactions last year, directly as a result of being able to send them new listings automatically. - Gary
